Guasacaca at Mercato Metropolitano


Hello and welcome to my first food blog post. Today i will be talking about a Venezuelan food stall called Guasacaca at Mercato Metropolitano on Newington Causeway.

I had traditional Arepas stuffed with pulled beef, spring onions, a slice of grilled goats cheese and guacamole.

The texture and taste of all the ingredients together was the perfect match. My mother had a bite of mine and my fathers and was very jealous. This is another amazing food stall at Mercato Metropolitano.

    Hi. I'm enjoying your new blog. Andrew introduced me to Mercato Metropolitano where we kick started our New Year's Eve with a very decadent Tiramisu washed down with sloe gin and bramble shandies. I'll definitely be back to try the Arepas.Looking forward to your next posts and recommendations. Jess

      Hi Jess thank you and i will try to post as often as possible so you can check this blog out every day. Hopefully you will like the arepas and i can tell you there are a few very good places im blogging about soon so stick around for that
